We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. This position is ideal for an analytical detailâoriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to both dayâtoâday accounting operations and longâterm process improvements. As a senior member of the accounting team you will support financial reporting internal controls budgeting and audit activities while also serving as a resource and mentor to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records including ledgers journals and supporting documentation.
Perform account reconciliations and prepare detailed financial statements.
Support monthâend and yearâend close processes.
Assist in budget preparation monitoring and variance analysis.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Prepare sales tax returns and other required financial filings.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Mentor and support junior accounting team members.
Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Participate in special projects system upgrades and process improvement initiatives.
Develop and refine internal controls and accounting procedures to strengthen operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
Requires 35 years of professional experience. Public accounting experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical organizational and problemâsolving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
