As theVICTerritory SalesManager you willbe responsible fordriving sales growth and achieving monthly quarterly and annual targets within your assigned territory. Your mission is to maximize opportunities across independent retail partners ensuring YETIs footprintexpandsand revenue grows through premium execution across multiple channels. This role combines relationship management staff training merchandising and customer service with a strong focus on developing new business opportunities.
Working closely with the National Sales Manager you will execute a robust call cycle and territory plan to deliver exceptional results. You are highly organized proactive and thrive in a fast-paced performance-driven environment. Your ability to prioritize high-impact activities coupled with a collaborative and hands-on approach will set you up for success.
Responsibilities:
Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales goals within your assigned territory.
Territory Management: Develop and execute a structured call cycle and territory plan to maximize coverage and impact.
Business Development:Identify pursue and secure new independent retail partners to grow YETIs market presence.
Account Management: Build andmaintainstrong relationships with existing retail partners ensuring long-term loyalty and growth.
Channel Strategy Execution: Implement company initiatives tooptimizechannel distribution and product placement.
Brand Representation: Act as a YETI ambassador at consumer events trade shows and industry gatherings to strengthen brand awareness.
Training & Merchandising: Deliver engaging staff training sessions and ensure premium merchandising standards across all retail locations.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional support to retail partners and customers including resolving issues andassistingwith head office functions.
Data Accuracy & Reporting:Maintaindetailed andaccuratesales data customer profiles and activity logs using Salesforce CRM.
Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales trendsidentifygaps and recommend strategies to improve performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing operations and product teams toalign oninitiatives and deliver seamless execution.
Event Participation: Attend andstaffrelevant trade shows and consumer events including weekends when.
Travel Commitment: Cover your territory effectively with up to 75% travel following a structured four-week rotation plan.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all activities adhere to YETIs brand guidelines operational standards and core values.
Qualifications& Attributes:
Tertiary qualification preferred combined with a strong can-do attitude.
Proficiencywith CRM and order management systems (Salesforce experience highly regarded).
At least 5 years of sales experience ideally in consumer goods/retail outdoor or sporting industries (other industries considered).
Highly organized self-motivated andresults-driven.
Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Alignment with YETIs core values and brand ethos.
Exceptional communication relationship-building and influencing skills.
Comfortable with significant travel; a true road warrior mindset.
Ability to follow a structured travel cycle and manage territory effectively.
