TheFlow CytometryHybridSales Associateis responsiblefordeveloping and executing a territory business plan designed to meet or exceedestablishedflow cytometrysalestargets;hunting fornew salesopportunities;callingoncurrentcustomers;performing technical presentations and product demonstrations and engaging service and applications personnelto resolvecustomerissues and problems. Strategic sales targets include Academic Pharmaceutical Biotech Industrial HospitalsReferenceandCROlabs.

This positionreports totheRegional Sales Managerandis part of theBeckman Coulter Life Science Commercial Organization working remotelyfromaterritoryinclusive of NorthernIllinoisMinnesotaand Wisconsin.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Sell clinical and research hardware andconsumablesflow cytometry solutions to meet or exceed assigned targets.

  • Execute best in classterritory management skillsusing analytical processesto deliver results.

  • Expand the business byhuntingforand winning new customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelors degree inaScientific field with5 yearsexperienceselling life science solutionsormastersdegree in a scientific field with2 yearssales experience.

  • Practicalexperience and knowledge of flow cytometry equipment.

  • Strong communicationand presentation skills.

  • Excellent time and territory management habits.

  • Reside inChicago or greater Chicago area and near a major airport.

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travelup to 70%overnightwithin the territory and to attend essentialtraining.

  • Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift move or carry equipment up to50lb.

It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:

  • Application ofspectral flow cytometry.

  • CRM experience preferably SFDC and Microsoft Office programs.

The salary rangefor this roleis$100000- $110000.This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting. This range may bemodifiedin the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
