Position: PM Sorter/ Truck Parker-Washer
Shift: Saturday to Wednesday - Saturday: 3:00pm-7:00pm Sunday to Wednesday: 5:00pm-9:00pm (20 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $23.63/hour
Description
The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination weight size and shape to meet client delivery schedules. The Vehicle Parker/Washer washes the interior and exterior of courier vehicles and checks for any freight that may have been left on the vehicle.
Responsibilities
Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
Wash the interior and exterior of courier vehicles
Move and return vehicles
Check for freight left in vehicles
Additional Responsibilities
Education
Completion of High School
Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
