ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Financial Reporting Analyst at VTEX you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy integrity and compliance of consolidated financial reporting. You will support and lead various financial reporting processes engage in technical accounting matters and collaborate on projects that enhance efficiencies and decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly consolidation accounting elimination entries and supporting working papers ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes ensuring compliance with Group accounting policies and standards.
- Assist with month-end close procedures including comprehensive analysis of variances and account reconciliations.
- Manage technical accounting matters ensuring alignment withfinancial reporting accounting standards(USGAAP) and VTEXs accounting policies.
- Calculate intercompany costs monitor mismatches and oversee transactions between companies such as debt asset transfers and cost allocations.
- Support external and internal audits by providing timely and accurate responses to audit queries and maintaining complete documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and reporting driving efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated onUSGAAPreporting developments and implement changes as required.
- Participate in special projects such as ERP implementations and other financial transformation initiatives.
- Explain variations in financial results and changes occurring during reporting periods.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Consolidation and Financial Reporting team is responsible for consolidating the financial results of VTEX subsidiaries and preparing internal and external financial statements in compliance withUSGAAPand SEC requirements. The team collaborates closely with Controllership Investor Relations and FP&A ensuring timely and accurate financial information. Who You Are
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration Economics Production Engineering or a related field.
- 2years of experience in Big 4/public accounting or mid-to-large public/global companies.
- Strong knowledge ofUSGAAP BRGAAP and financial reporting standards including group consolidation and foreign exchange.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. FCCS Narrative PBCS) and intercompany transactions.
- Strong analytical and systemic thinking to design simple solutions for complex problems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills in English; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
- Proactive adaptable and self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work collaboratively in a flat organizational structure.
