Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Hematology & Chemistry
Location: New York NY
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift:
Evening: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
Night: 12:00 AM 8:00 AM
Weekends and holidays required
Pay Range: $2062 $2250 weekly gross
Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong experience in Hematology and Chemistry to support laboratory operations in a clinical healthcare setting. This role involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests ensuring accuracy quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hematology and chemistry laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures
Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results
Follow laboratory quality control safety and regulatory guidelines
Document and report test results accurately within laboratory systems
Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff as needed
Support evening and overnight laboratory operations including weekends and holidays
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Hands-on experience in Hematology and Chemistry testing
Strong attention to detail and adherence to laboratory protocols
Ability to work independently during evening and night shifts
Education & Certifications
Valid New York State Education Department (NYSED) license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
