About Us:
We are a family office managing a diverse portfolio including real estate trusts and various investments. We are seeking an Accountant to oversee financial reporting and day-to-day accounting functions across multiple entities.
Role Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting experience with multi-entity structures and advanced Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle general accounting functions including journal entries reconciliations and financial reporting.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for trusts real estate holdings and other investments.
Maintain accurate records across multiple entities ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Assist with estate planning and trust-related financial management.
Work with senior leadership to provide financial insights and reporting.
Utilize Excel for financial analysis data management and reporting.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (preferably in real estate trusts or multi-entity structures).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables financial modeling and complex formulas).
Experience with trusts estate planning or real estate accounting is a plus.
Detail-oriented analytical and highly organized.
CPA or public accounting experience is a plus but not required.
