Plant 81 Shear OperatorPosition Overview
Position Objective:
Responsible for operating the shear machine.
This position will be assigned to either a 2nd or 3rd shift.
Essential Duties:
Oversee the shearing process which enhances the carpets finish
Monitor the lint house for proper operation
Monitor all accumulators and carpet guides
Must fill in as technician as needed
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to reach handle stand and stooр
Close vision and good hearing required
Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise dirt humidity and temperature variations
Must participate in group stretching prior to shift
This position will be assigned to either a 2nd or 3rd shift.

8 Hr non-rotating shift Hrs fall to out-punch day Observed Calendar shift starts PM
