Job Summary

Anticipated wage range $20.01 - $25.17 per hour

SUMMARY: Maintain CIP and foam systems with appropriate chemicals; maintain chemical cage/tool inventory operate Floor Scrubber/Forklift/Scissor Lift and ensure trash is placed in proper receptacles and locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies safety rules procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action.

  • Maintain GMPs Equipment/Buildings be aware and report safety hazards needing repair ensure function of eyewash and shower stations ensure preventative controls are applied to Plant processes.
  • Communicate effectively notify of safety hazards update chemical knowledge ensure chemical handling procedures notify supervisors when assistance is needed.
  • Maintain chemical cage label containers measure chemicals stage chemicals for use stock and clean chemical cage inventory of chemicals and sanitation tools maintain foam systems.
  • Operate floor scrubber forklift company pick up and Genie lift as needed.
  • Complete paperwork compile inventory information complete weekly report of activities for supervisors.
  • Industrial and food safety follow proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures HAZCOM chemical safety wear required personal protective equipment report unsafe conditions/acts to a supervisor follow all safety rules and regulations.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle reach feel objects tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms climb or balance talk hear taste or smell.
  • Sit stand walk stoop kneel crouch and crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for paperwork driving and reading specifications distance vision to drive the forklift color vision to check product color and identify packaging color differences peripheral vision for driving the forklift and to watch for pedestrians depth perception for driving the forklift and stacking pallets and the ability to adjust focus for driving the forklift and identifying the product.

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is/or could be exposed to extreme heat moving mechanical parts wet and/or humid conditions electrical shock high precarious positions fumes or airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals all weather conditions vibrations and loud noise.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
