SUMMARY:

The Engineering Intern will aid and assist with general engineering project within the Advanced Product Technology department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in testing and/or assembly of new prototyped designs through DFMA
Assist with concepts and designs using 2D and 3D CAD
Performance of basic mechanical assembly of components and assemblies. Assist in the assembly and installation of mechanical components such as 3D printed components brackets fixtures fabricated components or off-the-shelf purchased components
Develop and refine skills related to engineering drawings process flow principles operator ergonomics and performance of components installed into RVs.
Tracking of data collection activities into Excel.
Creating presentations to summarize and report out data collection activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be an upcoming Sophomore or above majoring in Mechanical Industrial Electrical Engineering or another related field.
Experience with 3D Modeling software
Experience with the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Products
Experience with reading and creating engineering drawings a plus
