When you join our teamas aBlood CollectionSupervisor you will use your leadershipcompassionand customer service skills to lead our blood collection team togoingabove and beyondensuring that all donors have the best experience possible. OurSupervisorsdrive for results and serve others witha high levelof respect for our staff and the donors we value.

Supervise blood collection staff including training and performance
Drive for results and to serve others witha high levelof respect for customer service
Take the time to personally connect with donors listen to their stories and help them understand the value of their donation
Contribute to a friendly and fun environment. Team up with your co-workers to keep our donors coming backagain and again
Standard Schedule (Indianapolis Indiana):
To best meet the needs of our donors andcommunitystaffworkavariable schedulewhich may includeearly mornings late nights weekendsand holidays.Overnight travel may bein some locations.
Schedule is providedtwo to threeweeks in advance
Pay Information:
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED(Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelors degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years of work experience in a related field)is
Minimumofthreeyears of supervisory/leadership experience
Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are.An abilityto effectively discuss procedures and medical issues with patients families and physiciansneeded.
A current valid drivers license witha gooddrivingrecord is.
Physical requirements may include the ability to liftpushor pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs good manual dexterity the ability to sit or stand forlong periodsof time and adapt to long irregular hours and frequent schedule changesare.Position may requirea minimumheight of 60 inches to ensure the ability to safelyoperateRed Cross vehicles.
At the American Red Cross we conduct many mobile blood drives at businessesschoolsand many other locations. All staff work as a team tosetupand tear down the equipmentto conduct a mobile blood drive.
Basic computer skills are desirable
