Regional Account Manager Public Sector North (Energy Transportation & Utilities)

We are currently seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager Public Sector to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business. This role will focus on developing trusted relationships across public sector organisations in Northern Italy with a particular emphasis on the Energy Transportation and Utilities segments. You will act as the key Account Manager for these customers guiding them through their cybersecurity transformation journey and promoting a securityfirst culture aligned with Fortinets values.

As a Regional Account Manager you will:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Drive the adoption of Fortinets products and services across assigned public sector accounts supporting longterm customer success.

  • Build and maintain executivelevel relationships with key decision makers influencers and strategic partners within public administration and ETU organisations.

  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver customerfocused proposals RFI/RFP responses and statements of work.

  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices in alignment with Italian and European regulations.

  • Serve as the lead contact responsible for the flow of information to and from executive management.

  • Maximize Fortinets opportunity while delivering valueadded solutions to assigned public sector customers.

  • Maintain an accurate and consistent pipeline and sales forecast.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including partner channel managers technical sales engineers and consulting professionals.

  • Travel within the assigned Northern Italy territory as required to support business opportunities.

We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in technology sales ideally within the cybersecurity or networking sectors.

  • Demonstrated success in selling solutions to public administration customers ideally including energy transportation utilities or other criticalinfrastructure entities.

  • Strong knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls VPNs antivirus IDS/IPS solutions.

  • A track record of consistent quota achievement and career stability.

  • Excellent presentation negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • A goaloriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities.

  • Based in Northern Italy with flexibility to travel across the region.
