Sportskeeda is hiring for Full Stack Platform Engineer roles at multiple levels. You will have access to the latest tech stack paid online learning resources and you will take leaps each week and start making an actual impact on the hundreds of millions of people who use Sportskeeda products directly.

We wish to take the Sports content consumption experience to a whole different level. We already have 100 Million monthly users at SK across our mobile web app and desktop platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Working on creating and bridging our backend microservices with several other microservices to create a modern lean scalable and beautiful application that grows and improves every day. It will be consumed by millions every single day.
Together with our development teams you will turn ideas and concepts into reality. You take pride in shipping features which directly impact millions of sport fans!
Overcome the challenges associated with competing priorities: UX page performance SEO stability scalability reliability availability resiliency performance latency incidents etc.
Helping to drive the designing efforts for some of our complex services and products.
Taking ownerships and initiatives for solving larger technical needs of the product and business.
Working on reducing overheads and toils in day to day software development practices.

Requirements

Knowledge on how the web works and have built web apps.
Minimum 1 year of experience in development.
Master of at least one modern programming language and familiar with other modern tools and technologies. We work majorly on Golang PHP Javascript etc. Experience with these languages would be a plus(but not a requirement).
Knowledge on best practices to follow when writing code or deploying to millions of our users on the website and App.
Making well architected system design choices even when building systems/features even for the first users.
Expert in designing data schema and deciding when to choose RDBMS or NoSQL or KV Store or Open Search data stores and have Database and query optimization experience in the past.
Familiar with current day web servers system administration and monitoring tools.
Experience writing Unit tests.
Mostly relying on data to make decisions rather than assumptions.
A team player and like working in a cross-functional setup.
Strong penchant for learning and technology.
Bonus points for built-in hacky-ness AI usage for automating workflows.
