Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Operations: Set up operate and monitor machinery to ensure the smooth production of goods. Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain optimal performance.

Basic Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor preventive maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications. Report any defects or deviations immediately.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety protocols including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.

General Duties: Execute other production-related tasks as directed by the Floor Supervisor or Production Manager.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Machine Operator within the manufacturing industry.

Education: Form Four certificate or a vocational certificate (VETA) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is an added advantage.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals or production schedules. o Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Availability: Must be willing and able to work in a shift rotation system (1 single shift as allocated).
