Trumbull Corporation has an immediate opening for a Welder at our shop in West Mifflin PA.
About Trumbull:

Primary Function:
Lays out fits and welds fabricated cast and forged components to assemble and repair heavy construction equipment excavator buckets and dozer blades.
Typical Duties:
- Selects equipment and plans layout assembly and welding applying knowledge of geometry physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage and welding techniques.
- Lays out positions and fits components together.
- Bolts clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc gas-shielded arc or gas welding equipment.
- May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
- May repair products by dismantling straightening reshaping and reassembling parts using cutting torch straightening press and hand tools.
- Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Skills Knowledge Qualifications and Experience:
Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. Should be able to: Rate information using standards that can be measured or checked; Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy; Look at flat drawings pictures and blueprints and visualize how they would look as solid objects with height width and depth.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to: Lift and carry objects weighing no more than 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds; Climb up on and balance on ladders scaffolding or stairs; See well (either naturally or with correction); Stand for long periods; Stoop kneel crouch and crawl to reach hard to get at work areas; and use hands and arms to reach for grasp and manipulate objects.
