About the Role
The person will be responsible for managing Sales Operations for the offline business of the Consumer Lifestyle Division. This role includes executing the organizations overall strategic plans driving business development initiatives ensuring optimal ROI on inputs leading monthly sales planning with National Distributors and overseeing the implementation of the DMS.
What You Will Do
Lead annual strategic planning initiatives.
Manage demand planning and inventory forecasting to ensure optimal stock availability.
Drive continuous improvement in sales analysis forecast accuracy and forecasting processes to positively impact inventory levels sales performance and margins.
Own annual sales budget planning reporting and auditing with budgets broken down monthly and performance monitored on a weekly basis.
Plan and execute trade schemes on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Drive business growth with each National Distributor while ensuring a healthy ROI.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Develop implement and periodically review operational policies and procedures.
What You Need to Be Successful
1520 years of progressive experience in sales operations sales and/or business development roles across multiple markets.
Proficient in computer applications including Excel Access Word PowerPoint internet-based tools and reporting systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administrative capabilities with effective customer liaison skills.
Strategically and operationally strong with the ability to simplify complex information into clear strategies and execute and communicate them effectively.
Strong consumer products orientation with a deep understanding of consumer needs to develop winning retail sales strategies.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across all functions within Harman and with a broad range of industry and consumer stakeholders.
Demonstrated creativity and out-of-the-box thinking consistently driving innovative ideas and programs to address sales and market challenges.
Bonus Points if You Have
Bachelors degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
Extensive experience in Sales and Distribution across multiple markets is required. Preferred industry experience includes electronics manufacturing consumer electronics computer hardware automotive or other related industries.
Proven ability to build and sustain strong customer relationships with a demonstrated track record of identifying new growth opportunities and negotiating complex mutually beneficial business agreements.
Provide timely and actionable market feedback to vertical and target market specialists to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to leverage shared expertise and maximize the success of product launches.
