In this role you will be working as a Broker Account Manager for a client that is in the employee group benefits this role you will be responsible for managing and creating case installations on-boarding claims troubleshooting and daily service tasks for large group plans.

This is a direct hire role that must be performed on-site.

The pay on this role is $50000 to $70000

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree and/or experience
3 years of experience in employee benefits or health insurance field
Can be from a carrier broker or General Agency
Must be HIGHLY Proficient in Excel (Formulas pivot tables and macros) Word and PowerPoint
NY State Health Life Accident License highly preferred
Must be familiar with large group market (100 lives) and small group market (under 100 lives)
Proficient with employee benefit compliance (ERISA ACA ect)
There will be some selling opportunities but sale is not a requirement
Have some experience conducting meetings employee education sessions and client renewal presentations
Ability to produce RFPs
Ability to resolve claim and billing issues
Ability to assist in submitting individual and group applications
Process enrollment termination and change requests with insurance carriers
