Location: We are seeking a Concessions Supervisor at T-Mobile Park home of the Seattle Mariners.
Union Status: Non-Union
Principle Function:
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that fans receive an exceptional level of service by providing hands-on supervision of concessions staff and supporting concessions operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage operations across multiple concession stands ensuring smooth workflows and a safe environment during operating hours.
- Greet assist and respond to guests and staff inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings presentation standards and pricing.
- Ensure proper product control inventory management and equipment handling.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and food safety/sanitation guidelines.
- Oversee inventory control processes including tracking reconciliation and submitting requisitions to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Support event-day operations including preparation check-out and closing procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to stand leads.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
- Assist concessions managers with pre-event planning and preparation.
- Organize post-event closing and clean-up activities.
- Support scheduling coordinators with staff deployment prior to each game or event.
- Communicate staff issues (e.g. illness injury inter-employee conflicts) to management promptly.
- Report facility issues or safety concerns to management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- TIPS or TEAM training (or equivalent).
- Valid Washington State Food Handler Permit and completed food safety training.
- Must meet state age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems and digital registers.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
- Subject to wet floors temperature extremes and excessive noise.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight and maneuver in tight spaces.
Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights weekends and holidays.
