Position Overview

The International Medical Information Specialist at Exact Sciences works closely with the Zug based International Medical HQ team to deliver medical information standard response writing and responding to medical information requests that impact all Ex-US International markets. The current focus is on supporting the objectives for novel assays which lead to improved treatment decisions for breast cancer patients most notably the Oncotype DX Breast Recurrence Score Assay. The International region includes Europe Canada Africa Asia Pacific Latin America.

Key responsibilities include owning Medical Information processes including responding to medical information requests as well as reviewing and updating standard responses.

This role is office based in Warsaw Poland.

Essential Duties

  • Development implementation and updates of International medical information content
  • Identify process improvements related to medical information and material reviews develop improvement plans and drive implementation.
  • Responding to both internal and external medical information requests and documenting into appropriate database.
  • Manage escalation of request to experts/global team as required.
  • Screening and evaluation of the current scientific literature relevant for the international markets and preparation of literature alerts.
  • Weekly tracking and delivery of quarterly Med Info reports
  • Collaborate with management to implement risk management strategies related to medical information review.
  • Perform regular med info quality checks as well as alignment between Veeva MedInfo and Veeva CRM.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability innovation integrity quality and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the companys Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master Degree
  • Medical / Pharmaceutical or Health Science background.
  • 3 to 4 years of industry experience (working in medical affairs - pharma/biotech/med tech). Experience in Diagnostics or Biotech industry is a plus.
  • 2-3 years experience in Medical Information
  • Expertise in Oncology a plus.
  • Personal leadership accountability strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to perform in-depth medical literature research analysis and interpretation to develop medical materials.
  • Proficiency in the use of literature searching databases.
  • Knowledge of MedTech and regulatory guidelines affecting the dissemination of medical information and product promotion preferred.
  • Proven record of working in matrix environment and delivering as part of a cross-functional remote team. Strong across/above market experience desired.
  • Solid track record of multi-project management and execution.
  • Excellent oral written and presentation communication skills. Excellent English multiple languages preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and other IT systems.
  • Experience with Medical Information management systems.
  • Experience with VEEVA systems for material review and medial information enquiry handling is a plus.
  • Ability to independently deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Track record of delivering innovative medical activities across markets.
