Agile Scrum Master – Systems Engineering

Were looking for a driven Scrum Master / Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of agile leadership and hands-on technical excellence. Based in Annapolis Junction MD this hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to shape how high-performing engineering teams deliver meaningful mission-critical solutions.

As a leader and coach youll guide multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) helping them embrace Scrum and Agile best practices while continuously improving how they work. You wont just facilitate processyoull actively contribute your engineering insight to help teams navigate complex technical challenges and design efficient scalable system solutions.

What Youll Do

• Lead and coach multiple Agile teams ensuring strong adoption of Scrum and Agile principles

• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including team events and Scrum of Scrums

• Remove impediments and proactively identify risks that could impact delivery

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement collaboration and technical craftsmanship

• Partner closely with engineers product owners and stakeholders to align team execution with broader program objectives

• Apply your technical background to support sound design decisions and high-quality development practices

Basic Requirements:

• 14 years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope complexity and mission

• Proven ability to plan lead and execute Systems Engineering efforts

• Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field

  • (An additional 5 years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a degree)

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required
