What Youll Do
As a Project Engineer youll play a key role in ensuring every aspect of the project runs smoothly-from technical planning and documentation to problem-solving in the field. Youll work closely with superintendents craft teams and clients to deliver safe high-quality on-time results.
Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting design plans and specifications for construction teams.
Identifying and resolving design discrepancies interferences or field challenges.
Preparing and maintaining project documentation-status reports submittals sketches punch lists and more.
Monitoring budgets costs and schedules to support project profitability.
Assisting in the preparation of field design changes and as-built drawings.
Supporting project safety programs and ensuring compliance with company standards.
Providing mentorship or training to junior team members.
What Were Looking For
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Five (5) to eight (8) years of previous construction design or project management experience in heavy civil or highway work preferred.
Skills:
Strong technical and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Business-minded approach with attention to detail and cost control.
Commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.
