Working within the Sun product team you will collaborate closely with our Editorial team to build out a compelling roadmap for the Newsroom. You will lead projects from discovery through to implementation playing a key role in shaping the future of our products while reporting to the Head of Product. This is an exciting opportunity to use data to drive decisions and implement features that align with a high-impact product strategy.
Balance short-term delivery with a long-term platform vision making trade-offs explicit and maintaining momentum across your workstream.
Manage the product roadmap for your area providing clear options to stakeholder groups to gain approval.
Collaborate with wider Technology teams to ensure they have a deep understanding of requirements at an early stage.
Lead the end-to-end management and delivery of products in line with business and product strategy.
Nurture relationships with teams throughout the organisation to ensure successful and seamless product deliveries.
Demonstrate a track record of leading digital product teams within fast-paced media publishing or consumer tech environments.
Show a deep understanding of WordPress.
Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Maintain exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and evolving requirements.
Apply strong analytical and storytelling skills using data to drive decisions and inspire teams.
Evidence a passion for news media and storytelling.
