The Integrated Warfare Centre (IWC) is responsible for enabling the Joint Force to operate integrate innovate develop and adapt to become the Integrated Force of tomorrow in response to the changing character of conflict. It achieves this through the analysis of lessons insights and observations from operations and training and the experimentation exercising and exploitation of concepts and technologies across all domains.
Position Role:
Staff Officer responsible for managing the JCAST contract utilised in support the IWCs Joint Force training outputs you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting edge training for an integrated fighting force ready to engage with the threats facing the UK our allies and partners.

The JFT JCAST Contract Manager will ensure that we closely monitor the Joint Command and Staff Training (JCAST) contract ensuring best use of resource iaw command-led priorities and ensure that delivery risks are identified and managed effectively.
Responsibilities (8 max):
- Project Manager for the JCAST contract on behalf of the IWC SRO; desk-level POC for Delivery Agent (SET) Sponsor (Cap C4ISR) and contractors.
- Ensure optimum use of contract resource iaw JFT prioritiesliaising with partners to monitor delivery and provide financial and business advice.
- Chair the monthly Technology Delivery Group to coordinate developments and funding requirements against the programme outputs.
- Produce and manage SROs Contract and Risk Management regular reporting to ensure AH JFT is informed of key outputs and risks.
- Prepare SRO-approved contract amendments producing Business Cases and scrutinising TAF requests to ensure limits are not exceeded.
- Monitor contractor expenditure to ensure that they are delivering value for money.
- Work with JFT exercise teams to improve programme management through effective advanced planning and long-term forecasting.
- Support JFT SO2 Trg Spt with the development of the future IWC support contract and conduct Secretariat duties on behalf of the SRO as required.
