Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening and Weekend Care Professional to join our team in Portsmouth United Kingdom. As a vital member of our care organization you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients during evening and weekend hours.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with personal care tasks including bathing dressing and grooming
- Provide support for continence care when needed
- Help with morning and evening routines
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as dusting vacuuming and changing linens
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks ensuring food safety guidelines are followed
- Accompany clients to appointments social events or outings
- Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities and hobbies
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients
- Document and report any changes in clients condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Collaborate with other care team members to ensure consistent high-quality care

- Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts
- Enhanced Disclosure clearance (preferred)
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (preferred but not required)
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
