As a valued member of Team JDMI you will play a key role in providing administrative support to health professionals and leaders of multi-site department.
Duties
- Answering screening and triaging telephone calls
- Receiving patients/visitors coming in for tests procedures and appointments
- Scheduling patients for tests special procedures and urgent/emergency appointments
- Following established procedures to ensure the efficient flow of patients and patient appointments
- Providing routine clerical support services
Qualifications :
- At minimum completion of a post- secondary certificate up to 1 year in Office Administration or recognized equivalent
- 6 months to 1 year experience using computer applications or health information system (i.e. EPIC MS Office)
- At minimum 1 year experience in front-line customer service
- General knowledge of office practices process and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Knowledge of RIS CD burning software preferred
- Experience working in a health care environment an asset
- Knowledge of a second language an asset
