Responsibilities
Oversees all aspects of insurance government billing and collections including denial resolution for the organizations five acute care facilities and one inpatient rehabilitation facility.
Responsible for all staff and/or supervisors assigned to insurance government billing and collections under his or her supervision. Proactively identifies issues and effectively problem
solve as issues arise. Effectively communicates policies procedures and processes to internal staff as well as administrators physicians and other individuals within the organizations. Abides by and
promotes HIPAA compliance at all times.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1. Associates degree in related field OR minimum 10 years accounts receivable
management experience required in a healthcare environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of a hospital billing and collections functions
3. High school diploma or equivalent
4. Has strong working knowledge of the revenue cycle analytical skills and coordinates a
wide range of administrative duties involved in the resolution accounts receivable.
PREFERRED:
1. Bachelors degree
2. FDCPA background
3. Experience with STAR SSI Billing System
