TheTechnical Product Support Underground Drillsis responsiblefor providing quality product support developing the technical competencies of the customer and internal personnel Liaisingwith factorysupport resources to implement resolutions to application or technical challenges. The role is product focused and concentrates on providing guidance and advice on the implementation and strategies for theUndergroundDrillsproduct range.

What you will be doing
- Develop and organize product training for sales and service personnel for the respective products.
- Provide technical training to the service network and customer base on proper operation maintenance and troubleshooting practices including support for underground drill simulator training.
- Provide technical support to operators and service personnel on underground drill rigs including tele-remote and automated drilling solutions.
- Recommend and develop product or process changes to enhance system performance and meet customer expectations. Build andmaintaincustomer relationships acting as a trusted advisor todetermineand implement solutions.
- Actively gather reliability operating cost and operator feedback and continuously relay this information to the Equipment Division Product Line to ensure offeringsremaincompetitive throughout their life cycle.
- Investigate warranty claims proactively and reactively to enhance customer satisfaction and provide feedback to factories.
- Participate in safety issue reviews andinvestigations andimplement product safety and service bulletins.
- Monitor test results for new products and implementimprovementsas necessary.
- Assistfactories with field-testing and trials of new products and updated components to ensure proper and safe operation.
- Perform equipment installations project commissioning and product demonstrations safely and proactively.
- Provide on-site and remote technicalassistanceto resolve issues.
- Assistcustomers with parts interpretations and recommend stock holdings.
- Visit customers to provide in-depth product knowledge including developing relationships with key clientsand gaining application knowledge specific to the mine-site.
- Support technical challenges with local solutions where possible; work with factory support resources as needed.
- Support developmentoflocal supply chains with Parts and Servicestooptimizedrills fleet performance.
- Support large retrofit kitinstallations (remotely or in-person) with guidance and troubleshootingas challenges arise.
- Support operational readiness for new product introductions(to the country and to the customer sites).
- Support Parts & Services Rebuilds Team withtechnicaland product support asrequested.
What you will bring along
Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of maintenance and service operations with a strong health and safety focus.
- Familiarity with Sandvik performance management processes inventory and sales systems.
- Expertisein analyzing and managing data using relevant systems.
Skills:
- High-levelofattention to detail with excellent analysis and diagnostic capabilities.
- Proficiencyin planning scheduling and organization; project managementexperienceis considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging at all levels; bilingual in English and French isconsideredan asset.
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills to influence stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Ability to train mentor and transfer knowledge effectively.
- Competence in navigating computerized systems and tools.

- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

- Ability to travelfrequently(more than 20% but less than 30% of annual working days)and work in varied environments including underground.
- Ability to travel without restrictions globally is preferred (Europe & Continental North America isa must)
- Ability to workcross divisionalon a Global scale.
Education/ Experience:
- Red Seal Trades Qualification or Technical Degree/Diploma in Electricalor MechanicalDiscipline or equivalent.
- Minimumfive (5)years of technical experience.
- Experience working with heavy-dutyequipment and underground mining equipment would be an working in Sandvik or with Sandvik Underground Drillsis highly preferred.
