Job Summary

Central Houston Nissan is hiring for a Service Valet/Service Porter position to service our dealership in Houston Texas.

Job Summary:

Porters move and keep the vehicles in sound working condition and helps management as requested.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Sweeps shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
Drives vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to carry out detailed written oral or diagramed instructions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Education and Experience:

Valid drivers license.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Frequent reaching bending squatting pulling and lifting.
