Salary: 55000 - 65000 DOE

Responsibilities

Underwriting new business and renewals in line with defined underwriting guidelines budgets and business plans.
Representing and promoting the company to brokers internal stakeholders and external clients.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and clients through proactive engagement and external visits.
Contributing to the development of products to enhance client retention and attract new business.
Mentoring training and coaching junior colleagues to build a high-performing underwriting team.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in the insurance market particularly in multiline property and casualty underwriting.
ACII qualification preferred.
Strong technical and business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of corporate underwriting the insurance market and competitors.
Proven experience in managing relationships with brokers and clients.
Leadership mentoring and people development experience is preferred but not essential.
