The Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the employee benefits market; develop new solutions and plans to maintain market competitiveness

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of WTW H&B products solutions and technology within the Country and know what is available within the Region and Globally.

  • Develop and maintain an understanding of WTWs Lines of Business (LOBs) outside Health & Benefits and initiate cross-LOB sales and collaboration

  • Have a clear understanding of the Global Regional and Local Value Propositions of the H&B business.

  • Provide support to the Business Development Team including but not limited to:

    • Assistance in the completion of Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements
    • Assistance in preparing presentation decks and proposals for prospect clients
    • Assistance in updating and maintaining D365
    • Assistance in submitting regional deliverables for specific clients

Performance Objectives:

Financial

  • Identify and target appropriate client segmentation to develop sales value proposition; adopt solution-based sales approach to win new clients

  • Build relationships with internal and external sources to maximize the penetration of key target accounts

  • Achieve clear goals of business development activities and revenue generation

Clients

  • Ensure that the local market is aware of WTWs intellectual capital and use the knowledge to engage with Clients and Prospects

  • Ensure a thorough and deep understanding of a Prospect through research and a needs analysis with the correct points of contact

  • Act as a trusted advisor providing insights on market trends and regulatory changes impacting benefits programs

Excellence

  • Implement quality assurance frameworks for all deliverables to maintain consistency and compliance

  • Champion digital transformation by leveraging technology for efficiency.

  • Consistently perform technical review of work products

  • Ensure timely and complete Compliance and Delivery of projects based on agreed timelines with the client

  • Consistently use Sales Tools mandated by the region; completely understand and maximize the use of these

People

  • Foster a culture of collaboration across Health & Benefits and other Lines of Business

  • Ensure self-learning through WTW internal and external publications learning sites and attendance at learning sessions

  • Mentor and coach team members to build technical expertise and consultative selling skills

  • Drive knowledge-sharing initiatives such as internal webinars and best-practice documentation

Qualifications

The Requirements:

  • Excellent ability to communicate ideas effectively and participate in engaging discussions with management clients and the team
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Good oral and written communication skills good presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of national and local H&B vendor marketplaces
  • Technical proficiency in multiple H&B practice disciplines
  • Broad understanding of compliance issues related to local legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel Word and PowerPoint knowledge of Macros and MS Access is a plus);
  • Ability to quickly learn WTWs capabilities strategic plans and business objectives
  • A strong commitment to the highest standards of professional conduct
  • Flexible adaptable with strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to successfully meet deadline
  • Requires a bachelors degree in a relevant field along with strong analytical and communication skills.
