Job Summary

Location: Shah Alam Selangor (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Salary:

  • Fresh Graduates: Up to RM 2000 (Basic) Commission
  • Experienced (1-2 years): RM 3000 and above (Basic) Commission


About the Opportunity

Our client is a long-established specialist in the gas industry operating since 1999. They support gas suppliers distributors and LPG professionals by supplying high-quality safety products such as regulators meters detectors and valves sourced from leading international partners in Europe and Asia.

They are a close-knit team (approx. 10 employees total) looking for a dedicated Sales Executive to join their 5-person sales division. This role reports to the Sales Manager with direct oversight from the Sales Director.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the domestic commercial and industrial markets (specifically LPG and NG sectors).
  • Distributor Management: Establish maintain and expand strong relationships with distributors and new prospects.
  • Sales Targets: Execute sales strategies to promote high-quality gas products and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Client Engagement: Handle customer inquiries manage negotiations and oversee contract management.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a technical understanding of the product line to effectively present and recommend solutions to clients.


Requirements

  • Experience Level:

    • Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
    • Experienced Candidates: Must have 1-2 years of sales experience.
    • Note for experienced applicants: We are looking for stability. Candidates must demonstrate a stable employment history (minimum 2 years in previous roles). Frequent job changes (job hopping) will not be considered.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the LPG or Natural Gas (NG) industries or knowledge of technical gas products is a significant plus.
  • Skills:

    • Strong business development and sales aptitude.
    • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to present professionally with a strong sense of ownership.
    • Capable of working independently within a small collaborative team.


Remuneration & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: Tiered based on experience (Under RM 2k for fresh grads; RM 3k for experienced).
  • Commission: Monthly commission structure applicable.

Interview Process

  • The process typically consists of 2-3 rounds of interviews managed by the Sales Director.
