Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cosmetologist / Dermo-Cosmetic Advisor to support the beauty and skincare division of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will offer expert skincare and cosmetic advice recommend suitable products perform minor non-invasive treatments and support product sales while ensuring excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Beauty Advisory

• Welcome customers warmly and assess their skincare cosmetic and hair care needs.
  
  

• Provide personalized consultations based on skin type concerns and product requirements.
  
  

• Identify potential minor skin issues (dryness acne sensitivity) and recommend suitable dermo-cosmetic solutions.
  
  

• Refer customers to pharmacists or specialists when a condition requires medical intervention.
  
  

Product Recommendation & Sales

• Recommend the right skincare cosmetic and hair care products tailored to each customers needs.
  
  

• Demonstrate correct product application and usage techniques.
  
  

• Support the pharmacys beauty sales targets through product education and effective advisory.
  
  

• Promote featured products bundles and ongoing offers.
  
  

Dermocosmetic Services (Non-Invasive)

• Perform basic facial treatments hydrating masks exfoliation and scalp treatments (if offered by the pharmacy).
  
  

• Ensure all treatments follow safety and hygiene standards.
  
  

Merchandising & Inventory Management

• Monitor beauty product stock levels identify fast-moving items and report low stock.
  
  

• Arrange and maintain attractive product displays in the beauty/cosmetics section.
  
  

• Ensure all shelves are clean organized and properly labeled.
  
  

Customer Service & Engagement

• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat visits.
  
  

• Provide follow-up guidance on product effectiveness and usage.
  
  

• Enroll customers into loyalty programs where applicable.
  
  

Sanitation & Compliance

• Maintain a clean hygienic and professional workspace.
  
  

• Clean and disinfect tools and equipment after each use.
  
  

• Ensure all activities comply with pharmacy and health regulations.
  
  

Trends & Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on beauty skincare and dermo-cosmetic trends.
  
  

• Maintain strong knowledge of ingredients product benefits and contraindications.
  
  

• Attend trainings and vendor sessions as required.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum OND / Certificate in Cosmetology Esthetics Beauty Therapy or related fields.
  
  

• 2-4 years of proven experience as a cosmetologist esthetician beauty advisor or dermo-cosmetic consultant.
  
  

• Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients cosmetic products and application techniques.
  
  

• Excellent communication sales and customer service skills.
  
  

• Friendly professional and confident personality with a customer-first mindset.
  
  

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
  
  

• Good knowledge of dermo-cosmetic brands and pharmacy-grade beauty products (advantage).
