We are urgently hiring for a Senior Payroll Officer
Location: Eastwood Libis Quezon City
Work setup & shift: Dayshift (6AM-3PM) & Onsite (Mon-Fri)
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Australian Payroll with end-to-end payroll responsibilities for a multi-site national Australian business.
- Required: AU Payroll Experience
- Strong background in using Payroll and/or Time & Attendance Systems.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel.
- Excellent Communication Skills (has the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and with external clients/stakeholders).
- Preferably with background knowledge with AU labor laws taxation and other required regulations.
- Has the ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes and can work independently from time to time.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and planning skills collaboration and partnering skills.
- Amenable to Work on Early Dayshift.
- Amenable to Work On-Site in Eastwood Quezon City.
Your Role:
- Handle the weekly fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles of all employees.
- Assist in all payroll-related queries inquiries including issues related to short payments off-cycle tax deductions and Superannuation.
- Assist in the monthly superannuation clearing house and reporting
- Process monthly payroll tax submission and annual payroll tax reconciliation.
- Setting up new employees on the Time and Attendance system.
- Process and validate timesheets including data entry and data integrity checks before importing data from the time and attendance system.
- Work closely with the Finance Team and Human Resources Team to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
- Interpret and understand payroll differences across different Australian states.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise agreements and relevant modern awards.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of the payroll system and processes.
- Handle sensitive payroll information with confidentiality and security.
- Perform general payroll administrative duties.
