Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team at Sebenza LLC. As a Payroll Analyst you will be responsible for accurately processing and managing our companys payroll ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and review payroll for all employees including salary hourly and commission-based employees

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing including data entry and verification

- Maintain and update employee payroll records including tax withholding information direct deposit and other relevant data

- Calculate and process bonuses commissions and other forms of compensation

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions and other related issues

- Stay up-to-date with federal and state payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance

- Assist in the preparation and distribution of payroll reports and analyses

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll

- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payroll processing

- Participate in payroll audits and provide necessary documentation and support

- Continuously seek opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

- 2 years of experience in payroll processing and analysis

- Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations

- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong time management and organizational skills
