Position Summary
Our client a highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Associate to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is well-suited for an associate looking to expand their experience in sophisticated corporate finance transactions while working within a collaborative and well-respected practice.
The role offers meaningful responsibility and exposure to a broad range of financing structures and restructuring-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on complex corporate finance transactions including senior and mezzanine debt asset-based lending cash-flow lending sponsor finance unitranche and junior capital transactions
- Support workout and restructuring-related matters
- Draft review and negotiate financing and transaction documentation
- Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on active matters
- Participate in deal execution and client-facing work from start to finish
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- 35 years of corporate finance transactional experience at a large law firm
- Texas bar admission or ability to become admitted in Texas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
