The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a healthcare organization in Olympia WA to recruit seasoned and skilled Radiology Interventional Technologists and Senior Radiology Interventional Technologists to support a rapidly expanding Interventional Radiology (IR) program.
This expansion includes the introduction of neurosurgical and advanced stroke-response interventions with a strong focus on thrombectomy procedures and time-sensitive high-acuity care. These roles offer the opportunity to work at the forefront of interventional medicine while contributing to program growth innovation and improved patient outcomes.
This is a combined posting. Candidates will be considered for the appropriate level based on qualifications experience and demonstrated leadership capability.
Role Overview
In both roles technologists deliver high-quality patient-centered care while supporting a broad range of Interventional Radiology procedures. You will collaborate closely with Interventional Radiologists Vascular Surgeons Neurosurgeons and Diagnostic Imaging nursing staff in a team-based environment focused on precision safety and outcomes.
The Senior Radiology Interventional Technologist role includes expanded responsibilities related to leadership training workflow coordination and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Radiology Interventional Technologist
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to:
  • Provide compassionate high-quality care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Assist physicians across multiple specialties to support safe and effective procedural outcomes
  • Prepare operate and maintain IR equipment in accordance with clinical and safety standards
  • Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at growth efficiency and quality improvement
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to enhance workflow patient experience and team performance
Key Responsibilities
Senior Radiology Interventional Technologist
In addition to the responsibilities above senior-level candidates will:
  • Plan coordinate and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care within the IR department
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to IR technologists supporting onboarding and ongoing development
  • Partner with physicians and nursing leadership on complex IR and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Contribute to departmental operations including:
    • Patient scheduling and procedural workflow optimization
    • IR supply management and resource planning
    • Environment of care standards
    • Regulatory compliance (Department of Health Joint Commission)
    • Radiation safety oversight dosimetry monitoring and policy development
Required Skills & Certifications
All candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
Candidates meeting the following criteria will receive priority consideration:
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology vascular or neuro-interventional procedures
  • Exposure to stroke response or thrombectomy workflows
  • Demonstrated leadership or precepting experience (for senior-level consideration)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-acuity team-based environments
  • Interest in contributing to program expansion innovation and long-term departmental growth
