Job Description (Summary)
This dual role leverages advanced administration and development skills to optimize the Salesforce ecosystem at UMGC. It requires combining technical expertise (Flows Apex LWC) with analytical and business analyst skills to gather requirements and produce high-quality documentation specifically within a Higher Education environment.
Key Responsibilities (Detailed)
Building Enhancements (40%): Design develop and optimize Salesforce Flows APEX and LWC. - Defect Resolution (40%): Perform thorough Root Cause Analysis and resolve defects in existing code/configs. - Refinement & Requirements (20%): Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and refine requirements; translate needs into technical specifications. - Support expertise in Service Cloud Omni-Channel Case Management and Knowledge. - Develop and maintain end-user guides SOPs and training materials for Salesforce users.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- 5 years of Salesforce experience; expertise in Flow APEX SOQL and LWC. -
- 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer and/or Business Analyst working with Salesforce in a Higher Education environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Education Cloud Student Success Hub and HEDA (Higher Education Data Architecture).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Copado or Gearset.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and critical thinking skills.
- Minimum Years Experience 5 years (with at least 2 years in a development role)
- Required Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201)
