Job Summary

  1. Account Management Existing Customers
  • Maintain and growsaleswithin an assigned territory of existing color additive and masterbatch accounts across a wide array of end use applications and markets.
  • Develop high wide and deep customer relationships with purchasing production R&D and quality departments.
  • Leverage relationships to expand our existing share of wallet and prevent YOY attrition.
  • Conduct quarterly businessreviews to evaluate QTD performance in revenue quality new product development delivery and more.
  • Utilize our Technical Service & R&D teams to make material recommendations resolve complex technical challenges formulate new materials and address complaints.
  • Establish a cadence for meetings based upon the needs of the customer and the business.
  1. New Business Development
  • Utilize 30-60% of your time to identify and develop new business at customers within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities & key market insights.
  • Identify opportunities to exhibit attend and network at industry tradeshows
  • Manage the fullsalescycle from new customer identification to new business commercialization.
  1. Territory Planning & Reporting
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achievesalestargets across the territory.
  • MaintainSalesforce with accurate records of customer interactions quotes opportunities and new business closes.
  • Provide monthlysalesforecasts call reports and market insights to leadership.
  • Analyze territory performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
  1. Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with regional teams and leadership to help drive growth.
  • Leverage technical service scheduling / planning purchasing and customer service teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Relaymarket feedback and customer sentiment to internal teams to ensure continuous enhancements to our portfolio and customers.
  1. Product & Industry Knowledge
  • Stay updated on masterbatch formulations performance & sustainability trends processing techniques and customer applications.
  • Keep informed on relevant regulations and customer requirements.
  1. Travel & Territory Coverage
  • Plan travel at least 3 week in advance and conduct regular in-person visits across the territory to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Travel expectations of up to 70%.
