General Job Description: Responsible for setting up multiple brakes in a given day for other brake operators. Set-up and run advanced parts/prototype parts with the ability to train others and the ability to perform the duties of a sheet metal inspector. This group is the most skilled having technical knowledge of multiple machines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform all Brake Operator 1 & 2 job duties responsibilities and requirements.
- Perform all brake set-up requirements.
- Able to set-up and form any project.
- Set-up and operate multiple processes and or machines in the employees immediate department.
- Advanced knowledge of sheet-metal principles.
- Advanced problem solving skills.
- Advance blue print reading.
- Advanced use of all required inspection equipment.
- Advanced use of shop math (K-factor Q Z etc.).
Education Training and Experience:
- High school diploma GED or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5 years brake experience
Work Conditions:
- Day Shift - 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM M-F (available)
- Swing Shift - 1:30 PM 10:00 PM M-F (available)
- Fast paced loud noise climate controlled facility.
- Use of inspection equipment some deburring tools
- Noise protection equipment may be required for some processes
- Lift over 50lb occasionally
- Eye protection and gloves required at all times.
- Temp-to-Perm; Benefits available after probationary period
