Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for production maintenance and administrative roles to meet staffing needs.
Provide guidance and support on employee relations including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and investigations.
Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws company policies and safety regulations.
Administer HR programs such as performance management onboarding offboarding and benefits enrollment.
Facilitate and coordinate employee training and development initiatives particularly in safety and compliance.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions concerns and policy interpretation.
Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data and timecards.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation procedures.
Demonstrated ability in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management for a diverse workforce.
Experience with full-cycle recruitment for production skilled trades and administrative roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of building rapport across all levels of an organization.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with OSHA compliance workplace safety programs or workers' compensation management.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience working in a unionized environment including grievance handling or collective bargaining support.
Proficiency in a second language (e.g. Spanish) relevant to the manufacturing workforce.
