Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced hands-on Construction Superintendent to lead daily jobsite operations and ensure projects are delivered safely on time and with high-quality standards. This is a working leadership roleyou will be active in the field not just managing from the sidelines.
Most projects are located in North Indianapolis with some travel required throughout the surrounding region.
What Were Looking For
- Lead onsite construction operations from start to finish
- Actively work in the field to keep crews productive and projects on schedule
- Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and jobsite crews
- Enforce all safety standards and lead jobsite safety meetings
- Perform daily jobsite inspections for quality and progress
- Communicate directly with project managers on schedules and issues
- Oversee material deliveries equipment and site logistics
What You Need
- 5 years of hands-on Superintendent experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods sequencing and codes
- Proven ability to read blueprints and technical plans
- Strong leadership and jobsite communication skills
- A true working-superintendent mindset (not a sit-back manager)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
