About the Role:
This CNC Manager position oversees second shift operations with a strong focus on CNC programming production leadership and precision machining. The role requires hands-on expertise in CNC setup tooling programming workflow optimization and team supervision. Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise second shift machining operations to meet quality safety and productivity targets.
Create edit and optimize CNC programs to support efficient production and reduce cycle times.
Oversee machine setup tooling selection process troubleshooting and job sequencing.
Train and mentor machinists operators and technicians to improve technical capability and performance.
Monitor workflow address production issues and coordinate with other shifts to maintain continuity.
Ensure adherence to quality standards inspection procedures and machining best practices.
Maintain equipment performance by scheduling maintenance and addressing machine downtime.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and process optimization.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Manager CNC Supervisor or Lead CNC Programmer.
Strong proficiency in CNC programming using common platforms such as Mastercam Haas Fanuc or similar controls.
Hands-on background in CNC machining tooling setups and troubleshooting.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and coach production teams.
Strong understanding of GD and T blueprint reading and precision measurement tools.
Ability to work second shift typically 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Experience in fast paced manufacturing or machining environments.
Strong problem solving communication and organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience implementing lean manufacturing 5S or continuous improvement programs.
Familiarity with multi axis machining advanced toolpath strategies or complex part programming.
Background with ERP or manufacturing software to manage scheduling and workflow.
Prior experience improving cycle times tooling efficiency or machining processes.
