We are looking for:SurgeryVeterinaryAssistant

Proposed Schedule: Wednesday-Friday 7a-7p

Our Surgery team is a fast-paced environment perfect fortechnicians that are looking for training in multiple facets of the department and interaction with the other teams in the hospital. This team requires strong communicationskillstoliaison between surgeons and clients and deliverpost-operative careinstructions.

What youll do:

Manage appointmentsobtainpatienthistories medical record keeping invoicing patient dischargesetc

Fill medications enter charges and maintain accurate medical records scheduleappointments

Create patient releases navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financialobligations

Prep patientsfor surgery including shaving scrubbing and positioning assist with intubation andradiographs

Proficiently perform blooddrawsand submitbloodwork

Ensure documentation is accurate andcomplete

Opening turning over and cleaning operating rooms as well as cleaning instruments and wrapping packs

Who are you:

Prior veterinary experience required previoussurgeryexperiencedesired

Proficientincalculations(drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)

Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours whennecessary

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment

Excellent verbal andwritten
