Maintenance Technician

Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (Union Local 399 upon conversion)
Reports To: Operations Manager

Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives on keeping complex systems running at peak performance Were looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to play a critical role in maintaining and repairing advanced facility systems automation equipment and essential infrastructure.
In this role you wont just fix equipment youll ensure uptime support production and help power a fast-paced high-performance environment.
What Youll Do
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and repair lighting systems (bulbs and ballasts)
Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and repairs
Troubleshoot and repair motors pumps and motor control systems
Conduct plumbing repairs and general interior maintenance
Service HVAC/R systems refrigeration units rooftop equipment auto/overhead doors and food service equipment
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on critical systems
Automation & Controls Support
Support conveyors and sortation systems
Troubleshoot scanners printers scales networks server drives and UPS equipment
Identify maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and control components
Work with SCADA systems and monitor KPIs
What You Bring
Technical Expertise
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience (480V 3-phase 110VAC 24VDC)
Experience with motor controls: starters VFDs DC drives
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
Experience maintaining food service equipment
Knowledge of control network components
Understanding of SCADA systems and automation controls
Mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong diagnostic skills
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of experience in building maintenance plumbing and electrical systems preferred
Technical training program completion preferred
Systems controls knowledge or programming experience a plus
EPA Certification (Type I II or Universal) preferred
Experience with advanced automation controls systems preferred
Must obtain UST Class B Certification within 90 days of hire
Must pass background drug/alcohol and MVR screenings
