Job Description:
As such Direct Medics are working to find experienced and dedicated Social Care Workers who will be based in Limerick providing care protection and support to vulnerable or dependent children/young people individually or in groups in conjunction with the wider multidisciplinary team and other relevant agencies.
The primary aim is to provide intervention necessary to address the child / young persons issues or the issues that are preventing them from living at home or in relative / foster care.
Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful social care teams in the country. This role is to cover relief hours on temporary basis - cover sick leave annual leave and future maternity leave.
Shift times as follows:
Day: 08.00-20.00
Night: 20.00-08.00
Late: 15.00-23.00
Requirements:
CORU registration as Social Care Worker
Level 5 or above Social Care Studies qualification or equivalent
Essential to hold full UK/ROI drivers license & access to own car
6 months or more EU/ROI based experience working as a Social Care Worker
Desirable to have completed 3 Children First modules
Right to live and work in the Ireland without VISA sponsorship
