Job Description & Skill Requirement:
Skill Sets required
Experience in working with Power electronics knowledge on VFD Drives Inverters and Converters
Experience in control hardware testing
Experience in testing at board bring up level.
Experience with PLC programming languages such as ladder logic or structured text.
The ability to write and execute test plans
Basic familiarity with hardware including the ability to read schematics PCB tools Layout DFM Root Cause Analysis
Experience in writing requirements specifications and design documentation.
Proficient with at least one widely-known design and modelling tool (Visio and/or PlantUML preferred).
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Some other skills nice to have
1. Agile experience preferred
2. Experience with Jira and Jama (a plus)
3. Experience with network debugging tools (e.g. Wireshark).
4. Self-starters and directed
5. Team players
6. Be capable of asking for (escalating) and responding to help when necessary and appropriate.
7. High degree of self-directedness and discipline.
8. Ask questions when appropriate but dive in to problem solve in an independent manner. I want enough experience where they are not inundating my engineering teams with questions they can look up themselves
9. Follow engineering process solid technical writing skills keep sound and rigorous notes.
10. Experience of handling high voltage and high currents (690V- 300A)
