Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Workday Stabilization SME Absence & Time Tracking to support a post go-live stabilization initiative following a recent Workday deployment. This role is focused on identifying diagnosing and resolving absence and time-tracking issues driven by ongoing integrations with a required third-party scheduling and time system.

The consultant will play a critical role in restoring data accuracy reducing errors such as incorrect absence selections negative balances and overpayments and improving overall system stability. This engagement also includes advising on system design decisions including transitioning absence and select non-billable populations fully into Workday to reduce risk.

This is a high-visibility impact-driven engagement requiring a strong techno-functional skill set and deep experience in Workday Absence and Time Tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze absence and time-tracking integration issues between third-party scheduling systems and Workday

  • Review and interpret integration error logs validation failures and balance discrepancies

  • Partner with HRIS Payroll and third-party system teams to diagnose root causes

  • Recommend and implement configuration integration and process improvements in Workday

  • Support post go-live stabilization efforts to materially reduce absence and time-related errors and rework

  • Advise on system rationalization efforts including removing absence and non-billable populations from third-party systems

  • Provide hands-on expertise to improve data accuracy reliability and downstream payroll outcomes

  • Document findings solutions and stabilization best practices

Required Qualifications
  • Senior-level Workday Absence & Time Tracking SME experience

  • Active Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking certification

  • Proven experience supporting post go-live stabilization initiatives

  • Deep hands-on experience configuring Workday Absence and Time Tracking

  • Experience working with required third-party or legacy scheduling systems

  • Strong techno-functional skill set with the ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical issues

  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced high-pressure environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience advising on system rationalization or consolidation into Workday

  • Experience within healthcare human services non-profit or large hourly workforce environments

  • Prior exposure to workforce scheduling timekeeping or leave management systems
