E-Commerce Business Systems & ERP Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on operations-focused Business Software and Integration Administrator to own the reliability performance and integration of our core business systems-specifically our ERP WMS and ShipStation shipping platform.

This role sits at the heart of our order-to-ship operations. You will ensure that systems are stable fully integrated and optimized as order volume fulfillment complexity and warehouse operations scale. Beyond day-to-day ownership you will also play a key role in supporting system upgrades and transitions partnering with leadership to evaluate tools migrate data test workflows and drive adoption across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

System Ownership: ERP WMS & ShipStation

Act as the primary administrator and day-to-day owner of ERP WMS and ShipStation ensuring high uptime performance and data accuracy
Monitor system health automation jobs error logs and integration queues to proactively identify and resolve issues
Configure and maintain workflows master data business rules user roles permissions and system settings
Manage updates patches and vendor escalations to keep platforms stable and current
Maintain clear documentation for configurations SOPs integrations and process flows

Integrations & Data Accuracy

Ensure accurate and reliable integrations between ERP WMS ShipStation and related tools (e-commerce platforms EDI carriers 3PLs BI/reporting)
Own troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for order sync issues inventory mismatches shipping exceptions label failures and cost or tracking delays
Improve and monitor integrations using APIs EDI middleware or file-based exchanges
Establish validation checks alerts and reconciliation routines to prevent data drift

Shipping Systems & Fulfillment Enablement (ShipStation)

Administer ShipStation settings including carrier connections service mappings rate shopping automation rules batching and label formats
Ensure shipping workflows align with warehouse operations and ERP/WMS order states
Optimize shipping performance to reduce manual effort and exception handling
Partner with operations and customer service to improve shipment accuracy speed and visibility

Stack Optimization & Continuous Improvement

Regularly assess the software stack for inefficiencies redundancy and automation opportunities
Translate operational pain points into system improvements and cleaner configurations
Lead or support initiatives that increase throughput reduce errors and improve reporting quality
Build scalable system processes as order volume channels and warehouse locations grow

New System Transitions & Upgrades

Support evaluation and rollout of new ERP WMS shipping or related systems under leadership guidance
Assist with requirements gathering process mapping data cleanup and migration UAT carrier testing and go-live support
Build training materials and lead user training to ensure strong adoption
Support change management and communication to minimize disruption

Security & Best Practices

Enforce access controls auditability and data integrity standards
Support backup disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Ensure systems support compliance and reporting needs across operations and finance

What Success Looks Like:

ERP WMS and ShipStation run reliably with minimal downtime or escalations
Orders inventory shipments tracking and costs stay automatically synchronized
Shipping workflows are fast accurate and low-friction for warehouse teams
Manual work decreases over time through automation and improved integrations
System upgrades and transitions are smooth well-adopted and low-disruption

Required Qualifications:

3 7 years of experience supporting ERP and/or WMS systems in an operations-heavy environment
