Job Summary

SH-847 Business Analyst HR Systems Atlanta Georgia.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong technical Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) expertise to support the implementation of Workday HCM for approximately 70000 state employees. This initiative replaces PeopleSoft HCM and represents a large-scale enterprise transformation.

This role will supplement business analysis efforts across Talent (Recruiting and Performance) Compensation Benefits and Core HR functional areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong data validation testing requirements traceability training and system support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review analyze and resolve data conversion issues to ensure accurate mapping from legacy systems to Workday.

  • Apply validation techniques to ensure successful and accurate data conversion.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and scripts; execute system and integration testing.

  • Provide technical support for system maintenance and enhancements.

  • Create software user guides and supporting documentation.

  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support.

  • Serve as a liaison between assigned business units (DOAS) and the technical team.

  • Produce high-quality detailed documentation and deliverables.

Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel SQL and/or other data analysis tools.

  • Experience with requirements traceability and testing methodologies.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to present technical information clearly to business stakeholders.

  • Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience implementing and/or administering HRIS systems.

  • Direct experience supporting large-scale data conversion efforts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM.

  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft HCM.

  • Experience supporting technology initiatives in the public sector.

  • Experience with large enterprise implementations
