Description

The role of a barista extends beyond just making coffee. At Loris Recharged you will provide a trusted place for joy and support when people need it most. You will provide products and services that nurture inspire and comfort. As a Barista in our Recharged coffee shops you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and engaging from the heart while creating and serving delicious beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by practicing GUEST standards (Greet Understand Educate Suggest and Thank)
• Take guest orders and process payments using the point of sale (POS)
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee tea and smoothies
• Prepare food items such as sandwiches pastries and salads
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area equipment and utensils
• Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement.
• Attention to detail for accurate order taking and preparation
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations preferred

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

• Standing on feet up to eight hours/day
• Repetitive motion including bending stooping and reaching
• Lifting objects ice products boxes up to 30 lbs
• Working in a small space
